Friday 26th May:-
ACE IT Surfers Visit HMS Edinburgh The power of E-mail was dramatically demonstrated in
the run up to the Silver Surfers Festival when messages
sent from the ACE IT computer centre to HMS Edinburgh
(whilst at sea) resulted in an invitation to visit the
ship on Friday during a short stopover at Leith Docks.
The Surfers were delighted to accept and despite the
chilly weather they received a warm and enthusiastic
welcome from both officers and crew.
