ACE IT Silver Surfers Festival
Galleries Monday 22nd May:- Opening
Celebration at Caledonian House
Following the launch of the
event at Edinburgh Castle, the surfers returned to the ACE IT office where the
ACE IT Silver Surfers Festival website was uploaded
'live' before an excited gathering of surfers by MSP
Sarah Boyack.
Alongside a selection of photographs from
the surfers visit
to Edinburgh Castle - the celebration also included the
'live' opening of 'U-Boat Fleet Surrenders' a specially
produced online festival exhibition
featuring original wartime photographs provided to the
ACE IT People's War Group by Mrs N. Norrie and digitally
restored by ACE IT.
