The awards ceremony held at the Science
Museum in London on Wednesday 9 July
recognised trade organisations, blue
chip companies and charities for their
innovative and creative Internet
projects.
Other winners included Barclays Bank,
Internet Watch Foundation, Get Safe
Online, Common Knowledge, YouthNet and
the British Library
Winning entries will be promoted as
demonstrations of best practice to
industry, government, academia and in
the media both in the UK and
internationally. They will also be
invited to take a leading role in the UK
preparatory meeting for Internet
Governance Forum in India |
