ACE IT Volunteer Pat Bryson shows how to get creative in
print
One of the core aims of the ACE IT computer and internet
training sessions is to provide clients with the skills
and abilities required to develop their own digitally
produced creative projects.
From using the internet to research and
gather information relating to a chosen interest... To
using graphic imaging and design software to print
anything from personalised greetings cards to
photographic and/or illustrated diaries and memory books
- ACE IT is here to help you 'Put The Pieces Together'

Following the Silver Surfers Festival's 'Open
House' session on Wednesday afternoon, ACE IT volunteer
Pat Bryson gave a short presentation based upon one of
her own creative projects. Centered around a recent
family visit to South Africa - the detail and
craftsmanship shown in Pat's 'Memory Book' deeply
impressed everyone in the group.

In slow easy steps, Pat explained how various parts of
the work related to specific computing skills and use of
the internet. "It makes a real difference being able to
take something made on the computer and hold it in your
hands". One of those attending commented. "It really
brought it all home and I can't wait to be able to
create something like this for myself and my family!"
